Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and promote progress.
* Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and displays.
* Help manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide emotional and social support to pupils, encouraging positive relationships.
* Supervise pupils during break times, transitions, and school trips.
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
The Ideal candidate:
Essential -
* A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their education.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Desirable -
* Experience working with children (e.g. volunteering, babysitting, youth work).
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Willingness to undertake training and CPD.
