About The Role
SkyReel Media is a subsidiary of Rettie specializing in high‑quality visual content for property marketing. We are seeking a detail‑oriented property photographer to produce photographs, videos (including drone footage), and floorplans to showcase our clients’ properties in the best light. As part of the photography team, you will capture and edit visual material, liaise with clients, and prepare marketing assets for listings.
About You
The successful candidate will be Edinburgh based, hold a full, clean driving licence, and have at least 12 months of professional experience in property photography and videography. Experience with floorplan creation is essential. Proficiency with photo and video editing software, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are required. A photography qualification, a Drone licence, and ideally an RICS approved floorplan qualification are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Photograph property interiors and exteriors for use in printed and online material.
* Create videos, including walkthrough tours and drone footage to capture the local area.
* Prepare and style the property, using proper lighting, angles, and composition to enhance features.
* Edit and retouch images to maintain brand consistency and quality standards.
* Collate final details about the property in preparation for sale.
* Help draw up floor plans to RICS standards.
* Complete paperwork with clients during appointments.
* Organise, edit, and watermark property photographs and videos.
* Upload videos to YouTube.
Key Requirements
* Full, clean driving licence with access to own car.
* Minimum of 12 months of property photography experience.
* Full Drone Licence (CAA approved Flyer ID).
* Proficient in photography and videography editing software.
* Experience creating floorplans.
* Fully IT literate and proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
