Are you a newly qualified or experienced Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in paediatrics? We are looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive team at Shaftesbury Victoria School in Poole, Dorset. Our vibrant school supports students aged 3-19 with primarily physical and medical needs and associated learning difficulties. We also have a number of students with Autistic Spectrum Condition. The successful candidate will deliver speech and language therapy assessments and interventions to children with a variety of developmental disorders. You will be responsible for developing Total Communication across the school and managing your own diverse caseload. Working closely with families and other professionals, you will provide an excellent quality of care and act as a source of information, support and advice. Ideally, you will have some experience of working with children either in a special school or within a paediatric speech and language therapy setting. Additional qualifications or experience within the field of dysphagia and AAC would be an advantage, but is not essential. We welcome applications from newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists.
