Clinical Negligence SolicitorNorwich | Full Time | Competitive Salary + BenefitsOur client, a long-established and highly respected law firm, is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution and Personal Injury team.This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor with a passion for achieving justice for clients who have suffered as a result of medical negligence. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative environment, handling high-quality claimant clinical negligence matters while benefiting from genuine opportunities for career progression.The RoleYou will manage a varied caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, supporting clients through complex and often sensitive claims with professionalism, empathy and expert legal advice.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception through to conclusionInvestigating claims and assessing liability, causation and quantumObtaining and reviewing medical records and expert evidenceDrafting correspondence, witness statements, schedules of loss and court documentsNegotiating settlements and representing clients throughout the claims processBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, medical experts, barristers and other professionalsSupporting business development initiatives and helping to raise the profile of the departmentAbout YouWe are seeking a qualified Solicitor with approximately 5 years' PQE and demonstrable experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters.The successful candidate will possess:Strong technical knowledge of clinical negligence law and procedureExperience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervisionExcellent analytical and investigative skillsOutstanding client care and communication abilitiesA compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with vulnerable clientsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailThe ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentKey AttributesYou will be:Client-focused, with a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomesCommercially aware and proactive in your approachConfident managing complex and high-value claimsA strong communicator with excellent negotiation skillsMotivated to contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the departmentThe OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded firm with an excellent reputation for client care and legal expertise.
