My client has a great opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team. You will play a key role in processing accounts for a group ofpanies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial tasks.
Your new role
1. Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and manage payments.
2. Sales Ledger: Raise and allocate customer invoices, monitor receipts, and chase outstanding balances.
3. Assist with VAT returns and ensurepliance with HMRC requirements.
4. Support with journal entries and month-end processes.
5. Maintain accurate records and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Sage experience is desirable
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
