Description
You will be responsible for developing a cohort of apprentices, ensuring quality and meeting KPIs. Provide support and guidance throughout the learner journey to facilitate progression, qualifications, and competencies as per standards. Build relationships with apprentices' line managers to support development and review progress.
Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct skills radar calls with apprentices to assess their starting points.
2. Complete induction presentations and manage apprentice sign-up administration.
3. Run monthly meetings with apprentices both in the workplace and remotely.
4. Deliver group sessions aligned with the curriculum and Ofsted standards.
5. Respond to remote queries and support needs of apprentices.
6. Assess and measure apprentice progress against objectives and milestones.
7. Undertake projects to improve business operations.
8. Maintain documentation to evidence learner work and track activities.
9. Contextualize learning outcomes to the apprentice's role and environment.
10. Guide apprentices on relating work-based experience to apprenticeship standards.
11. Set activities to develop competence against standards and learning outcomes.
12. Coach apprentices on evidence collection for assessments.
13. Support apprentices in achieving professional qualifications.
14. Escalate concerns regarding progress or employer support timely to line manager.
15. Assist apprentices and employers to meet end dates.
16. Prepare apprentices for end-point assessments.
17. Participate in development and standardization meetings as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Experience in similar roles within the sector.
* Experience with Apprenticeships and regulatory environments (Ofsted/ESFA).
* Assessor qualified and hold a teaching qualification.
* Minimum five years' experience in the Insurance sector.
* Functional skills in Maths and English at Level 2 or above.
* Hold a CII Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Insurance.
