Position Overview
Working Hours: 35 Hours per week
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent
Additional Payments: Essential Car user allowance plus £5,000 market rate supplement

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a social work team ensuring services are effective and deliver positive outcomes for children and families.
* Coordinate with partners, contributing to a child‑centred, whole‑family approach.
* Focus on strengthening families, ensuring child safety, and creating sustainable change.
* Lead impactful work to improve children’s lives while developing professional skills.
* Gain experience across case types – placements, foster care, etc. – and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 3 years’ reference history where possible.
* Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
* Medical Clearance: Pre‑placement health assessment (PPHA).
* Full valid driving licence and own car (designated Essential Car User). Essential Car User Allowance provided.
* Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

* Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
* References from current and previous employer(s).
* Proof of relevant qualifications.
* Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
* Valid driving licence if the role requires driving.
