Prospero Teaching are seeking a compassionate and engaging tutor to support a Year 11 student who has missed a significant amount of school and is working towards GCSE English and Maths.
The learner has a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, and responds well to creative and sensory-based engagement-she enjoys music and fidget toys.

As a Tutor, you will:
- Support the young person to prepare for their GCSE exams
- Be adaptable in your approach to sessions and create engaging, practical activities where possible to support learning
- Provide a positive, supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Tailor sessions to the student's interests (e.g., music, sensory tools)

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
Experience of working with learners with SENTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
