We’re hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team delivering large-scale, purpose-built residential accommodation.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants visibility, responsibility, and the chance to grow within a business that prioritises professional development and values long-term contribution.
You’ll be involved from the ground up on a significant scheme, a multi-occupancy, high-value build designed to modern standards. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you’ll take charge of essential surveying functions and bring precision, clarity, and energy to the commercial lifecycle.
This position requires a Quantity Surveyor who is willing to begin work on a project in London. Please apply only if this arrangement suits you.
YOUR NEW ROLE
* Preparing accurate monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reports and tracking financial performance
* Managing subcontractor accounts, including payments, variations, claims, and final accounts
* Leading key elements of contract administration, ensuring records and processes are up to date
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure all commercial reporting reflects actual progress and projections
* Supporting the wider commercial function with both operational tasks and strategic input
ABOUT YOU
* A degree, HND, or substantial experience in quantity surveying or a related commercial role
* Strong understanding of residential construction, particularly multi-occupancy or student accommodation-style builds
* Experience with cost management, subcontractor engagement, and reporting
* Proficient user of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
* Confidence in communication (written and verbal)
* A proactive mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
