Finance Administrator

Newport

GBP12.71 per hour

16.5 hours per week

A leading manufacturer of complex mechanical components is looking to add to its progressive finance team. Providing to an international supplier base, this company has an enviable reputation as a market leader in their field across the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop with in one of South Wales most stable businesses.



Role and Responsibilities:

* Purchase and Sales Ledger management
* Invoice processing with accuracy and attention to detail
* Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Cash book entry and reconciliation
* General data entry tasks
* Maintaining organised and up x2011;to x2011;date filing systems
* Supporting wider office operations with general administrative duties



Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Must have previous experience of working within a financial/accounting environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
* Strong data interpretation and analytical abilities
* Experience using electronic financial software/packages
* Able to work using own initiative and manage tasks independently
* Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and process optimisation
