Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Ideal hours would be Monday to Friday 9.30am-1/1.30pm working within our friendly office in Standlake, working closely with the directors and sales administration team. You would report to the directors.
Duties
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software Sage (multi currency).
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
* Payroll and tax-related tasks
* VAT returns
* Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Respond to supplier and customer regarding accounts queries.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: Up to £19,300.00 per year
