An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a family owned franchised dealership located in York. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative. Benefits for the Vehicle Technician: A basic salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, with packages available to suit varying skill levels Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings Excellent training opportunities - train on electric vehicles from day one Family owned dealership with a friendly working atmosphere with good staff retention Work in a modern, heated workshop alongside a stable and experienced management team A stable role: the client has been in business for decades and they are as busy as ever Duties of the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to: Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles MOT Testing Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults. Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards Requirements for the Vehicle Technician: A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence Dedicated and committed approach. Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
