Description

The Finance Integration Analyst is responsible for assisting with the financial integration of acquisitions, mergers, or system transitions. This role ensures harmonization of financial systems, processes, and controls across the enterprise. It requires strategic oversight, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless consolidation and operational efficiency in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning & Execution
o Assist with end-to-end finance integration during acquisitions, including due diligence, post-close execution, and policy alignment.
o Help develop and manage integration plans, budgets, and timelines.
o Support with internal controls, compliance and risk management
o Serve as the secondary day-to-day analyst for all integration activities.
* Cross-functional Coordination
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Engineering, program management, and operations to ensure financial data integrity.
o Help facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and deliverables.
o Act as the second point of contact for finance integration-related issues.

* Financial
o Assist with coordinating financial responsibilities for P&L performance of the acquired entity as it relates to integration activities
o Support the design and integration solutions for systems and applications.
o Aid in embedding internal controls and ensure compliance across integrated entities.
o Tracking budgets, synergy and other costs and milestones tracking.
o
* Change Management
o Assist with monitoring and manage change processes, issues, and alerts.
o Help drive adoption of new systems and processes through training and stakeholder engagement.

* Risk & Issue Management
o Help identify and mitigate risks early in the integration process.
o Assist with resolving bottlenecks and ensure timely decisions on key issues.
o Aid with overseeing internal controls, compliance and risk management
* Reporting & Governance
o Assist in building reporting to enable report outs on progress to senior executives and steering committees.
o Help identify requirements from governance and compliance standpoint and coordinate the compliance requirement through key stakeholders
* Others
o Ability to 100% dedicated to the role
o Ability to commit to the role of full duration of integration
o Ability to travel (10%) during the integration either domestic or international.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred).

* 5-7 years of experience in financial operations, integration, or consulting.
* Proficiency in financial systems integration and reporting consolidation.
* Proven experience in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
* Strong understanding of financial compliance and reporting
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguity

* Strong Strategic thinking and problem-solving capability with ability to navigate ambiguity and high-stake decision- making
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
* Collaborative work style with a strong Eaton network across functions and geographies.
* Deep understanding of cultural integration, change management and Org Design process.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred:

* CPA or CFA certification.
* Validated competence in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support.
* Experience with financial reporting and data quality management.
* Manage ERP and financial system transitions, focusing on defense and aerospace compliance (e.g., ITAR, DFARS).
* Familiarity and understanding of government contracting and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across functions.
* Proficiency in business process modelling and analytics.
* Experience in post-merger integration and change management.


Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be able to work in the UK without restrictions in accordance with UK National Law and be prepared to successfully undertake an appropriate level of UK National Security Vetting according to UK Government National Security Vetting criteria.
