Care Assistant (No Personal Care) / Home Cleaner (Part-time)
At Age UK Hertfordshire older people come first, our Help in the Home service is vital at keeping our older generation living well for longer in their freshly cleaned homes.
We are looking to expand our cleaning team and are offering rewarding part time local work, with hours that start slow and build up over time.
What does the job entail?
The same jobs that you do in your own home, such as cleaning bathrooms, dusting, hoovering, changing bed linen and remaking the bed. Plus you become an essential regular presence who provides company and support over time.
What skills & experience should I have?
* You should like cleaning and have an eye for detail, but you don't need to have experience as we give you full training before you start.
* Initiative and common sense are important as you work on your own, although full office support is always available whilst you work.
* You should be reliable and respectful as we want you to build relationships with our clients.
* Have a driving license with access to your own car
* This is not a term time only role
Benefits include:
* £12.88 per hour
* £13.36 per hour if you live over 5 miles from the clients home.
