Job Advert Location Description
Cleveland House is located in Banks, Southport, and we offer residential support for 32 males and females with an acquired brain injury (ABI), progressive neurological condition (PNC), and associated physical health needs.
We are looking for Bank Support Workers to join our team.
The role:
Supports and assists qualified staff in the planning and implementation of resident care. Delivering care to the resident as prescribed by the individual care plans.
Key Accountabilities
1. Assists qualified staff with implementation of individual resident care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities to facilitate the well-being, dignity, and treatment of all residents.
2. Provides practical support and responsive care to residents requiring assistance with personal needs such as dressing, bathing, and toileting, ensuring activities comply with procedures and healthcare legislation.
3. Observes and monitors residents' well-being, promptly referring any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences to senior staff or the primary nurse and documenting appropriately.
4. Monitors and allocates work for care assistants.
5. Develops and maintains professional relationships with residents, colleagues, and visitors, responding promptly and courteously to requests and inquiries.

2. Requires well-developed observational and listening skills to monitor residents' mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Job Advert Role Description
Knowledge & Skills
Educated to a minimum GCSE/NVQ 2 or above (or similar qualification) with a good standard of English.
Experience
Previous care experience is essential, preferably in a relevant setting.
Autonomy & Impact
Organizes and prioritizes work, referring complex issues to senior staff, with routine duties covered by procedures and policies.
Intelligent Problem Solving
Limited flexibility in altering routine tasks, but encouraged to suggest improvements in healthcare processes or activities.
