Maths & Science Graduate Trainee TeacherKent (TN2) Salary: £28,000 Start Date: September 2026
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Kent for ambitious and motivated Maths and Science graduates looking to begin a rewarding career in teaching through a structured Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Programme.
This opportunity offers a clear pathway towards gaining a PGCE, followed by Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), while developing practical classroom experience within a supportive and academically successful school environment.
The Role
As a Graduate Trainee Teacher, you will:
* Support teaching and learning across the Maths or Science department
* Gain valuable classroom experience from the start of the programme
* Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors
* Receive ongoing training and professional development
* Progress towards gaining your PGCE and QTS
* Build the foundations for a successful long-term career in secondary education
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
* Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Maths, Science, or a related subject field
* Have achieved A–C grades at both GCSE and A-Level
* Have completed all academic qualifications within the UK
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Demonstrate a genuine passion for education and working with young people
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
