What you'll do
As an HGV Technician, you'll carry out a full range of maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on a variety of heavy goods vehicles. You'll work within a well-equipped workshop alongside a friendly, experienced team
Carrying out MOT preparations and inspections
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
Ensuring all work meets DVSA and company standards
Keeping things moving with routine servicing & maintenance on all kinds of heavy commercial vehicles
Completing digital job cards & inspections using tablets
Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workshop
Preferred qualifications
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys solving problems.
Full UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable but not essential)
Proven experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and modern repair techniques
Good knowledge of DVSA vehicle standards
You're fully qualified time-served fitter with experience in the industry
Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
A positive, proactive attitude and attention to detail
