Receptionist – The Kennels (Casual Role)
Rate of pay: £13.68 (for under 21s) to £14.24 (for ages 21+) per hour. Rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
Join our team at The Kennels, a stylish private members’ club set within the beautiful Goodwood Estate. As our Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for every guest’s visit, creating a warm and memorable first impression.
This is a casual role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
What you'll be doing:
1. Greeting guests and members with genuine warmth and professionalism
2. Managing bookings, telephone enquiries, and general questions
3. Building a good understanding of our offering - including the restaurant, membership benefits and Kennels events
4. Supporting the wider team to ensure a seamless guest experience
What you'll bring:
5. A passion for delivering great service
6. Previous customer-facing experience (hospitality, events, or retail all welcome)
7. Confidence using computers and booking systems
8. An eye for detail and a proactive approach
9. A positive attitude and team spirit
