A day in the life of

As a Senior Conference & Events Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and executing all Meetings & Events business within the Venue, as well as handling events-related queries. Directly reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will consistently apply and demonstrate your extensive venue and destination knowledge to all internal and external customers.

As a purpose-built, highly adaptable venue you will be given the opportunity to work on events of all sizes, including high volume and those with high profile clients. Your focus will be on our larger spaces, you will be passionate about delivering the highest of stands, whilst ensuring all bookings are handled professionally to maximise revenue and profitability. Based in the Eastside Rooms you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesnt always mean working around the clock.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with a proven track record in the events sector. Preferably, you will have a minimum of 2 years direct experience within a similar fast paced environment and an excellent track record of maximising sales to meet and exceed targets. You will be able to manage multiple relationships internally and externally, whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail. Additionally, you will have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and prioritise need, and will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience, always living through our brand standards.
