Overview
The Orchards is a nine bedded recovery unit for people with longer term mental health problems. It is situated near the cathedral city of Ripon, about 45 minutes from Leeds and York. We aim to help people manage and recover from mental health problems by encouraging service users to take part in social activities and therapeutic groups to learn daily living skills. The purpose of our service is for service users to gain greater independence and follow a healthy lifestyle, achieving a good quality of life within the community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a competent, confident, and enthusiastic full time Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Orchards rehabilitation and recovery team. OT plays a crucial role in supporting individuals to recover from mental ill health and is an essential part of the Orchards MDT.
