Job description
Food Safety and Quality Management System:
1. Establish and maintain a robust food safety and quality culture within Natural Foods departments.
2. Ensure a fit-for-purpose, aligned QMS system complying with group policies, covering supplies, product range, and NPD/EPD.
3. Organize and analyze audits, translating results into action points for continuous improvement.
4. Develop and implement a yearly action plan aligned with the company and corporate quality strategy.
Technical KPI:
5. Integrate Group Quality KPIs, including Q-score, supplier complaints, consumer complaints, GMP scores, and non-conformities.
6. Conduct KPI trend review meetings and define action plans for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management:
7. Represent technical in leadership team and Brand Ownership meetings.
8. Collaborate with Operations and QA Managers, guiding the execution of technical principles in own and external production plants.
9. Manage two teams, each with technologists reporting to a technical manager, ensuring day-to-day implementation.
10. Establish a streamlined meeting structure with relevant stakeholders (team, supplier, plant QA status meetings, Technical council, etc).
11. Participate in monthly Corporate Quality meetings (in Belgium) and hold regular status meetings with the Corporate QA Director.
Profile
12. You hold a master degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Agri-Food Technology or a related field.
13. Your have knowledge of food technology, microbiology and Quality Management Systems and you have a comprehensive understanding of risk-based food safety approaches, analytical and microbiological analysis methods, and root-cause analysis.
14. You have a proven track record in leading technical teams and managing stakeholders in a dynamic and international environment.
15. You have experience with managing co-manufacturers and/or co-packers and with setting up or maintaining Quality Management Systems.
16. You have strong leadership and communication skills, an analytical mindset and a goal-oriented approach.
17. Proficiency in English is a requirement; knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is considered an asset.
