As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that cover key historical events, themes, and interpretations, helping students develop analytical skills and an appreciation for different perspectives. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons aligned with the curriculum. Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and evaluation of historical events. Support students in developing research, analytical, and writing skills. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback. Promote respectful classroom behaviour and positive learning attitudes. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience as a History Teacher. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons. Effective classroom management and clear communication skills. A professional and reflective approach to teaching and safeguarding. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
