* Class size 10 year 6 - these students will be going through their SATS

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Primary Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Tooting.
About the Role
You will lead a small class of up to 10 primary-aged pupils who have a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as additional learning barriers. With the support of experienced Teaching Assistants and a highly skilled pastoral and therapeutic team, you’ll create a nurturing, structured, and inspiring learning environment that helps every child reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver a creative, differentiated curriculum tailored to the individual needs of pupils.
* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages engagement and self-belief.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to support holistic pupil development.
* Use restorative approaches and trauma-informed practice to promote positive behaviour and relationships.
* Track progress and celebrate both academic and personal achievements.
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – essential.
* Experience teaching pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs (PRU experience desirable but not essential).
* Creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching and behaviour management.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
