Are you a highly organised and proactive professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking an experienced Executive Support Officer for a permanent position, 27 hours a week. The role is primarily office-based with flexible home working arrangements based on business needs.
Main Responsibilities
We are looking to appoint an experienced Executive Support Officer with a 'can-do' attitude to join the team. You will work closely with our Senior Leadership and Wider Leadership Teams, providing an exceptional level of support and engaging regularly with other areas of the Council. * Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Leadership Team and Wider Leadership Team.
* Managing and maintaining appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
* Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Coordinating and organising meetings, including preparing agendas and taking action notes/minutes.
* Assisting with special projects and initiatives as required.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in an executive support or similar role.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organisational abilities.
* Proactive mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* A 'can-do' attitude to join the team.
* Experience in taking action notes of meetings, including in-house and multi-agency meetings.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
