Schools across Newcastle upon Tyne are seeking Science graduates to join their support teams as Learning Support Assistants, helping pupils develop confidence in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

The Role
As a Science Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will:
* Support pupils during science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils who require additional help
* Help explain scientific concepts in clear, accessible ways
* Support pupils with SEND including ADHD, ASD and dyslexia
* Assist teachers with lesson resources, experiments and classroom activities
* Encourage curiosity, engagement and confidence in STEM subjects
You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils stay engaged and make progress.
