Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Group Trade Compliance & Quality Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Trade Compliance & Quality Manager to join a global logistics organisation operating within a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.

This is a key group-level role supporting international operations to ensure a consistent, compliant, and high-quality approach across all regions. You will play a vital part in maintaining industry certifications, strengthening compliance frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across the business.

The role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, influence senior stakeholders, and contribute to ambitious global growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Compliance

1. Support global teams to meet all local and international trade compliance regulations
2. Liaise with regulatory bodies across multiple regions
3. Assist with oversight of:Import/export customs processesAudits (internal and external)Denied party screening and KYC processesExport controls, licences, and regulatory requirements
4. Deliver and support training on compliance topics such as Incoterms, commodity codes, and dangerous goods
5. Assist with expansion into new industry sectors

Quality & Auditing

6. Support the maintenance and development of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 / EN 9120)
7. Assist with internal and external audits, including customer and accreditation audits
8. Ensure consistent documentation of policies and procedures

Risk & Business Continuity

9. Support identification, assessment, and mitigation of business risks
10. Assist in developing and maintaining business continuity and crisis management plans

Process Improvement

11. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
12. Analyse performance data and present insights to senior management
13. Support process optimisation and scalability initiatives

Culture & Training

14. Promote a strong compliance and quality-focused culture
15. Support internal training initiatives with a customer-first mindset

Health & Safety

16. Provide support on health and safety activities to ensure compliance with regulations

About You

17. Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, ideally within logistics or air freight
18. Experience in trade compliance, auditing, or regulatory environments
19. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
