Customer Service Advisor

Your role will be to provide customer service to new and existing customers.
The Merchant Rentals Team are responsible for ensuring new customers are accurately set up on our in-house systems, issuing relevant correspondence and dispatching payment terminals in a timely manner. You will accurately transfer data between systems and deal with any initial customer enquiries. You will also liaise with customers and third-party providers and internal departments to ensure the customer is onboarded smoothly.
A strong customer service ethic, and the ability to deal with customers in a positive manner is essential in this role. You will also be responsible for handling queries and completing any necessary amendments to contracts. The team predominantly work to KPI's around termination processes, collection and return of equipment and customer call statistics.
Key responsibilities:
* Accurately transfer data between systems and deal with any initial customer enquiries.
* Liaise with customers, third-party providers and internal departments to ensure the customer is onboarded smoothly.
* Checking of hire agreements to ensure accuracy.
* Allocating customers to the database.
* Take ownership of queries from existing customers about their lease
* Adhering to GDPR and data policies when handling customer queries.
* You will also be liaising with customers looking for support and guidance around settlement figures and potential customers wishing to cancel their contract.
* Follow the procedures provided to you by your Manager and Senior Member of the Team
* Develop an understanding of the lease finance market and industry standards

Our contracted working hours are 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday 9am until 5.15pm.
