Job Description:
We are looking for a Design Assurance Engineer to join our Christchurch or Letchworth, UK location!
As a Design Assurance Engineer, you will ensure that our design work complies with quality and regulatory standards. This role offers the opportunity to impact a global organization pushing technological boundaries.
Your responsibilities include planning and executing quality assurance audits on system, hardware, firmware, and software development activities, as well as contributing to process improvement initiatives. We seek candidates with a background in quality or design assurance.

You will be responsible for maintaining and deploying engineering procedures, conducting audits to ensure compliance, reviewing engineering outputs, participating in change control processes, resolving non-compliance issues, providing feedback, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
You will play a key role in process improvement activities and report on engineering quality issues to senior management.
What You Bring
Extensive knowledge across engineering disciplines, experience in a quality or assurance role within aerospace or familiarity with RTCA DO-178B/C and DO-254 standards. A solid educational background in computer science, engineering, or science, with knowledge of aerospace standards such as AS9100, ARP4754A, RTCA DO-254, and DO-178B/C. Experience with configuration management and product lifecycle tools. Strong communication, collaboration, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
