As a SEND Behaviour Mentor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, providing tailored support and guidance to help them navigate the challenges they face. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalised behaviour support and intervention to students with SEND Develop and implement tailored behaviour management plans to address individual needs Foster positive relationships and trust with students, and their families/carers Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a cohesive approach to student support Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour support strategies Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities Required Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification in SEND, Behaviour Management, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience working as a SEND Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role Demonstrated success in implementing effective behaviour support strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families Commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable learning environments Excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
