Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking to work on a diverse range of infrastructure and construction projects across the Central Belt? We are working with a leading principal contractor to recruit a driven and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join their well-established team.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality civil engineering and construction projects. You’ll be involved in all stages of project delivery, from setting out and surveying to liaising with subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme, quality, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings and specifications
Supporting the management of site activities to ensure delivery to programme
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Preparing and maintaining records, including quality assurance and progress reports
Identifying and resolving technical challenges on site
What We’re Looking For
Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure projects
Strong setting out and surveying skills using modern instruments (e.g., GPS, Total Station)
Knowledge of current health & safety standards and site procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
