Electrical Technician Salary: £49,276.50 Hours: 40 Hours per week Contract: Permanent Location: Southampton About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to help with the maintenance, repairs and rectification of onboard rail systems, including software uploads. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical fault finding Replace electrical components as and when required Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and correct accordingly Complete mechanical repairs and rectification Upload and update on board software systems Work in part of a well knitted team Requirements Electrical background with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent). Experience with IT systems, able to upload/download software updates. Knowledge of fault finding and testing equipment; both mechanical and electrical.
