HGV Mechanic/PSV Technician
Location Bath or Bristol
Salary £18 to £19 per hour
* Full Time Permanent Role.
* Monday Friday days 7.30am 5.00pm
* £18.00 per hour
* £19.00 per hour for Saturday hours, 1 in 4
* Up to 30 days annual leave.

Full job description
Duties:
* Maintenance and repairs across fleet of vehicles and trailers.
* Carry out inspections and corrective action when required.
* General mechanical repairs and fitting parts on HGV's & trailers.
* Fault finding and diagnostic work to identify root cause.
* Attend breakdowns and roadside repairs if required.
* Complete relevant documentation and records.
* Work in a safe manner at all times.
* Liaise with transport team and management on vehicle progress, parts and costings etc.
Criteria:
* Level 3 qualified in HGV Repair or similar (such as Light Vehicle or Plant)
* 2-3 years mechanical experience on Heavy Vehicles / Trucks
* Excellent knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanics
* Working knowledge of diagnostics
* HGV licence desirable but not essential
* Required Criteria
o Level 3 qualified in HGV Repair or similar (such as Light Vehicle or Plant)
