The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, delivering clear and accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards in Boots.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support available to complete training within 6 months if not already qualified.
Opportunities for career development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services and registering with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) role. Compensation and benefits will reflect your professional development.
