Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday, 4 on 4 off shift basis
Pay Rate:
£22.56 to £24.40 per hour
Role Overview and Purpose:
The Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site. The role will be the public face of the security team and should always act with professionalism. A can-do attitude is essential in this highly influential role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Be an ambassador of the site, delivering first-class guest-focused service each time.
2. Work as a team player in meeting guest needs and actively contributing to the efforts of all departments.
3. Carry out regular patrols of the centre as detailed in the site assignment instructions, being proactive at all times.
4. Continuously seek opportunities to assist visitors at the centre, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise.
5. Ensure all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
6. Liaise with the site control room, react to incidents, and support colleagues.
7. Monitor and surveil suspicious individuals, log and report incidents in line with policies.
8. Maintain vigilance and prevent unauthorized access by banned individuals.
9. Adhere to radio procedures at all times.
10. Liaise closely with the Environmental Services team to deliver unified service and identify opportunities for collaboration.
