Location: Hybrid (Leeds office/Remote with travel)

Job Description
Heart Research UK is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to reducing deaths from heart disease. The Health Promotion & Education team enhances heart health across the UK through innovative health improvement programs.
We seek an experienced Clinical Education Manager (Cardiac) to manage and develop our masterclass program, oversee the Toolkits (congenital heart disease) program, ensure clinical governance for health checks, and verify the accuracy of medical data used in our resources and communications. The successful candidate will play a vital role in improving healthcare professionals' knowledge and skills in heart health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Governance:
o Maintain high standards of clinical governance in health check delivery and assist in health check delivery when required.
o Develop, implement, and review protocols for health assessments.
o Monitor and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of clinical programs.
2. Clinical Education Masterclass Programme:
o Manage the masterclass program to meet healthcare professionals' needs.
o Plan and coordinate delivery of masterclasses on cardiac care and heart health.
o Present a Heart Research welcome at each event.
o Collaborate with Fundraising to source equipment and sponsorship for courses.
o Assess and improve the impact of masterclasses.
o Supervise the Community Health & Education Administrator.
3. Toolkit Programme:
o Oversee the management and development of Toolkits.
o Evaluate outcomes and report on the impact.
o Engage with Cardiac Units to promote toolkit usage nationwide.
4. Public Resources and Communications:
o Ensure accuracy of medical data in public resources.
o Work with Marketing to provide expert input and serve as a media spokesperson.
o Review educational content for evidence-based accuracy.
5. Travel:
o Attend all masterclasses (4-6 trips per year).
o Travel to cardiac hospitals for networking and toolkit promotion.
