An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Respiratory Patient Pathway Co-ordinator. You will work within an established team to provide administrative support to the clinical team and improve the patient pathway. The role involves acting as the first point of contact for patient queries over the telephone and providing a full administrative service, including audio typing. The successful candidate should be proactive, possess excellent communication and IT skills, and be able to prioritize workloads effectively to meet changing demands. Previous NHS experience, a flexible approach, professionalism, and experience in audio typing are desirable.
Main duties of the job
The Patient Pathway Co-ordinator (PPC) will work within dedicated specialty divisions to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring coordinated and streamlined administrative processes tailored to patient needs.

Essential criteria
* Experience of using a full range of IT/Patient administration systems
* Experience of patient administration work in a healthcare setting
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge of NHS service provision, including pathways of care
* Experience working in a similar healthcare/hospital role
* Understanding of medical terminology
