Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor

Salary £45,000-£48,000 + Benefits.
Brief
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a leading construction organisation based in Uxbridge. As a M&E Supervisor you will be providing comprehensive support to the Site Maintenance Team and, as directed by the FM Manager, extending assistance to the broader team. Collaborating with the FM Manager to ensure high standards and best practices in the execution of both Reactive and Planned Preventive Maintenance services, in accordance with the contract terms.
What the role entails as an M&E Supervisor:
Collaborate with the FM Manager to prepare quotations for additional and remedial works, and identify opportunities for self-delivering sub-contracted maintenance activities. Ensure all statutory records are current and accessible. Maintain practical involvement in legionella control. Assist in planning small projects and additional works.
Duties include:
* Review subcontractor RAMS as per SSoW
* Supervise contractors and Engineers, issuing Authority to Work as needed
* Prepare/Review RAMS for reactive/remedial works
* Perform maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, emergency lighting checks, PPM checks, basic electrical tasks, building repairs)
* Repair safety hazards
* Install appliances and machines
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers, manage permits and escort duties
* Attend reactive breakdowns
* Assist with PPM regimes
* Take meter readings
Who we're looking for in a M&E Supervisor:
Essential
* Building Services C&G Qualification or Equivalent
* Experience in a similar role, Supervising/leading a team
Ideally:
* Health & Safety legislation (IOSH Managing Safely)
* COSHH
* Water Hygiene - L8
* Site Technical systems (HVAC)
* Facilities management services, including SFG/HTM Specifications
* Company Quality procedures
* Company Environmental Management plan and local procedures
* IT business support systems including SAP and Planon CAFM system
