Role Description An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Underwriter to join our successful Regional Financial Lines team at Allianz, based in either London, Southampton, Chelmsford or Maidstone. As part of this growth and ambition, we are now looking for a talented, ambitious and passionate underwriting professional to join us on our journey to build a ‘Best in Industry’ team which sets the gold standard within the Allianz Group. The role will include everything from pricing risks, chasing in new business, and analysing claims data, to implementing bespoke scheme arrangements; including answering day to day queries from Brokers, and ensuring that renewal terms are sent out in accordance with our compliance rules and regulations, developing broker relationships through regular broker visits and collaborating with your colleagues in other departments to support our ambitious growth plans. To be successful in this role, we would expect you to have a background in casualty underwriting, ideally, but not limited to Professional Indemnity or D&O. As a part of our successful team you will be expected to: Provide excellent service to our Customers Collaborate and build a successful relationship with the Regional and wider UK Financial Lines Team Build successful broker relationships Achieve agreed financial performance targets Collaborate strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery Process renewals and mid-term adjustments Send out documents to Brokers ensuring that we adhere to compliance and regulation About You This is a very varied role and an exciting opportunity and would suit someone who thrives on being challenged and enjoys every day being different and varied.
