Offer description

The postholder will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What we'll need you to bring

* SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or experience in a secretarial role
* Understanding of medical terminology
* Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
* Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
* Audio typing skills

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.


It would be great if you also have

* Experience of working in a busy medical environment


Contract type

* Fixed Term or Secondment for 6 months.
* Full time
* 37 hours

This role will be based in Gynaecology within University Hospital Monklands
