Elmley Dray School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed SEND Classroom Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive, caring and enjoyable school environment.
In this role, you will:
1. Work as part of a team supporting and following the direction of the Class Teacher/Cover Supervisor
2. Supporting pupils with their emotional, social and cognitive learning
3. You will be required to initiate and participate in games/activities, toilet/change where necessary and protect pupils safety and wellbeing.
4. Support the Class Teacher/Cover Supervisor with high-quality learning opportunities for students
5. Foster a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
6. Play an active role in the wider school community
