Business Support Team Leader - Job Description

This is a full time, fixed term position working 37 hours per week until 30th of September 2027.

In the position of Team Leader, you will deliver a range of administrative support services to managers and teams within the Authority. Working from within the Business Support hub the post holder will aid the team, ensuring that work is prioritised and distributed appropriately to maintain the smooth delivery of services.

You will provide advice and guidance to the team when needed, ensuring performance remains high and reported accurately in performance data. You will also interact with a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the Authority, using customer and interpersonal skills to ensure a timely response to queries, requests or criticism.

The ideal candidate will be qualified and have proven experience working in a business environment with a range of administrative and supportive skills. You will work well under pressure and have good communication and people skills. Experience or qualification in supervising or leading a team would also be favourable.
