The Basics
* Role: Teaching Assistant at an amazing specialist high school in Salford.
* Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
* Start date: Immediate.
* Pay: £90-100 per day (dependent on experience), paid via PAYE - no umbrella companies.
* Progression: Opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role
* Work with a class of up to 10 pupils with a range of Communication, Sensory, Social & Emotional needs.
* Provide individual and small-group support, tailoring your approach to meet different learning styles.
* Encourage positive behaviour through reinforcement strategies and supportive interventions.
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, parents, SLT, and outside agencies.
* Record and share observations on progress, behaviour, and safeguarding matters with the DSL.

What We're Looking For
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with special educational needs.
* Valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply), plus proof of right to work in the UK, recent references, and ID/address documents.
* A reliable, empathetic, and committed team player with a genuine passion for supporting learners.
