Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CQC Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living, learning disability, elderly care, Mental Health and nursing environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage staff, ensure the highest standards of care for residents, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. The Home Manager will play a pivotal role in developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs, particularly for those with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the overall operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
* Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence in care delivery.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for residents, ensuring they meet their specific needs.
* Oversee medication administration processes and ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies to promote quality care.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Ensure that all staff receive appropriate training in areas such as dementia care, medication management, and senior care best practices.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the home while maintaining high standards of service.
Experience
* Proven experience in a managerial role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is essential.
* Background in nursing or senior care is highly desirable.
* Experience working with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to care homes and senior living facilities is advantageous.
