Cardiac Physiologist (Bank) – Circle Health Group
Location: The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Harrow, England, United Kingdom
Shift Type: Bank Shifts – work as required during busy periods and cover staff absences.
Salary: Up to £30.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification).
Overview
The Clementine Churchill Hospital, part of Circle Health Group – Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare – offers a bank role for a Cardiac Physiologist to support the Cardiology department.
Duties of This Role
* Perform and interpret a wide range of non‑invasive cardiac investigations including resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders and blood‑pressure monitoring.
* Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt‑table testing and other functional assessments.
* Undertake and interpret echocardiograms (transthoracic, trans‑oesophageal and stress echo if appropriately trained).
* Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties and right‑heart studies.
* Monitor and record intra‑cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
* Provide technical support during pacemaker, ICD and CRT implantations.
Applicants Should Meet the Following Criteria
* Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
* Experience of customer care, including interacting with patients in challenging situations.
* A degree in clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
* Device qualification.
