Paediatric Clinical Lead - Community Complex Care

Salary: Up to £54,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Contract: Permanent
Are you an experienced Paediatric Clinical Lead or senior paediatric nurse looking to progress your career within community complex care? Role
As Paediatric Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership across community-based paediatric care packages, ensuring safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
Key responsibilities
* Developing and overseeing individualised care plans
* Providing hands‑on clinical support to children and families in the community
* Training, mentoring, and supervising carers to maintain high clinical standards
* Working closely with MDTs, CHC nurses, and commissioners
* Building strong, supportive relationships with children and their families
Essential Requirements
* Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) with a valid NMC PIN
* Minimum 18 months’ UK paediatric community nursing experience
* Recent experience with tracheostomy and ventilated children (within the last 2 years)
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and supervisory skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Band 5 or Band 6 nurses with leadership experience encouraged to apply
* Full UK driving licence
