I'm recruiting for a hands-on Technical Warehouse Manager to take ownership of a busy, fast-paced AV / Events Management warehouse. If youre a senior AV tech whos ready to step off the road but still wants to stay close to the kit and the people, this could be a great fit.
What youll be doing: Leading and mentoring a team of 4 junior techs. Setting standards, building skills, and keeping the place running smoothly. Overseeing all things Audio Visual kit, from prep & de-prep, maintenance, and repairs, through to keeping inventory databases accurate and up to date. Making sure health & safety isnt just a tick-box exercise but part of day-to-day working. Coordinating transport and logistics for equipment, deliveries, and events. Driving process improvements and keeping standards high across a busy, growing operation. Must-haves: Strong technical knowledge of Audio Visual equipment and warehouse processes. Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor a team. Process-driven mindset with sharp attention to detail. Confidence with systems and databases (accuracy matters here) A modern, collaborative approach (were not after old school clipboard and barked orders). Good to haves: Experience managing compliance (PAT, LOLER, H&S). Knowledge of transport management (vehicle bookings, logistics, etc). An interest in new AV tech and ways to improve workflows.
