Role: 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: SEN Schools across Durham
Pay: £85–£100 per day (PAYE)

We’re working with specialist SEN schools in Durham looking for Behaviour Support Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEMH, autism, and behavioural needs.
What your day might include:
1. Supporting one pupil to stay regulated, focused, and safe
2. Helping manage behaviour using consistent, trauma-informed approaches
3. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
4. Celebrating the small wins, because they matter
You’ll be a great fit if you:
5. Have experience with SEN, SEMH, behaviour support, or care
6. Stay calm when things feel challenging
7. Believe behaviour is communication, not defiance
