Financial Controller Leicestershire - Hybrid Working Full Time, Permanent £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus SF Recruitment are working with a fantastic business in Leicester, due to both organic & acquisitive growth they now require a Financial Controller to work closely with & support the Head Of Group Finance. This is position would suit an experienced & agile Finance Professional who enjoys working in a fast paced and growing environment. As the Financial Controller you will oversee businesses within the portfolio & manage the financial aspects of each company, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective financial management. As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for:- Preparation of monthly accounts & year end. - Financial Reporting - Preparing and presenting financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for each company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Budgeting and Forecasting - Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for each company, monitoring performance against targets. - Identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support investment decisions. - Establishing and maintaining internal controls to prevent fraud, minimize errors, and ensure data accuracy. - Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks specific to each company within the portfolio. - Ensuring compliance with external reporting requirements and liaising with external auditors. - Stakeholder Communication: - communicating financial information to senior management, investors, and other relevant stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications:- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing. - Analytical Problem-Solving & Excel skills - Ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders. - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
