Drive Marketplace Success for a Portfolio of Leading Brands Are you a passionate e-commerce professional with a proven ability to optimise and grow brands on Amazon and other online marketplaces? We are seeking a results-driven Account Director to manage a portfolio of our clients and maximise their success in the complex marketplace ecosystem. This role goes beyond basic account management; you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to enhance product visibility (through Amazon SEO and our content writing team), drive sales (via Amazon Advertising - PPC through our dedicated ads managers), optimise conversion rates (through engaging content and compelling product listings), and ensure smooth operations (inventory management and efficient fulfillment). A crucial aspect of your role will be building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with your portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within the agency. You'll be responsible for deeply understanding their business goals and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to drive their growth, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. This involves providing data-driven insights to inform their marketplace strategy, communicating effectively and transparently, and championing their needs across internal teams to ensure we're delivering exceptional service and exceeding their expectations. Your Role: As an Account Director, you will serve as the dedicated and strategic point of contact for your assigned portfolio of marketplace clients, building strong, long-term relationships and acting as their trusted advisor. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of their marketplace presence, from developing and implementing tailored growth strategies to optimising product listings for maximum visibility and conversions. This includes managing inventory levels to ensure product availability, overseeing pricing strategies to maximise profitability, and meticulously monitoring performance across all key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Your ultimate goal is to drive client satisfaction by delivering exceptional results and exceeding their business objectives, becoming an indispensable partner in their marketplace success. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketplace Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketplace strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each client, with a strong emphasis on driving growth and profitability. Optimisation Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of each marketplace ecosystem to optimise client performance. This includes expert management of marketplace SEO, marketplace PPC campaigns, product content, and selling strategy. Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients, providing proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of marketplace performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Generate clear, actionable reports and present findings to clients with strategic recommendations. Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day management of client marketplace accounts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This includes product listing optimisation, inventory management, pricing strategy, and order fulfillment. Growth and Expansion: Identify and implement strategies to expand client reach and grow their business within the marketplace ecosystem. This may involve exploring new marketplaces, product lines, or marketing initiatives. Requirements Marketplace Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing and optimising client accounts on online marketplaces, with a track record of success. Amazon Optimisation Skills: Strong expertise in optimising client performance on Amazon, including Amazon SEO, Amazon PPC, product content optimisation, and Seller Central management. Client-Centric Approach: A strong client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term, strategic partnerships. Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to develop and implement effective marketplace strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable results. Analytical and Data-Driven: Strong analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights. Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients and internal stakeholders. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively and make sound judgments. E-commerce Knowledge: Solid understanding of e-commerce principles, practices, and technologies. Organisational and Time Management Proficiency: Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain a high level of efficiency.
