Our client is a well-respected claimant firm with offices nationwide. They are recruiting for an EL/PL solicitor or chartered legal executive to join their Liverpool office on a hybrid working basis. You will handle a range of litigated and non-litigated EL/PL claims.
Your new role
This EL/PL Solicitor/CILEX role will see you:
1. Manage your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated employer’s liability and public liability claims, primarily within the portal and pre-action protocol stages.
2. Evaluate liability and quantum, review medical evidence, and prepare detailed schedules of special damages.
3. Deliver clear legal advice to clients and insurers, ensuring regularmunication and effective expectation management.
4. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including medical experts, investigators, and rehabilitation providers.
5. Drive timely case progression in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for lower-value personal injury claims and internal SLAs.
6. Maintain accurate andprehensive records using case management systems.
7. Support team objectives by achieving financial and productivity targets.
8. Act as an authorised person when required.
What you'll need to succeed
9. You must be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive who has already obtained or is working towards litigation rights.
10. Previous experience handling your own caseload of litigated and non-litigated EL/PL claims.
11. Understanding of the EL/PL portal and pre-litigation process.
12. Excellent client care andmunication skills.
